The remaining 8 weeks can be enjoyed by the father continuously or interrupted, on a full or part-time basis, during the first year of the child's life.
The biological mother may assign to the other parent up to two weeks of her non-mandatory period of suspension of enjoyment.
It is an individual and non-transferable right without it being transferred to the other parent.
In order to apply for this permit, it is necessary to be affiliated and registered with Social Security and have covered a contribution period of 180 days within the seven years prior to the start date of said permit or, have 360 days of contributions at the throughout your working life prior to this date.
