DRAFT LAW FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
The limitation period for juvenile abuse offenses will begin to count when the complainant is 30 years old, not 18, as is currently the case.
It also establishes the duty of all citizens to immediately denounce the existence of signs of violence against minors and creates the figure of the "coordinator of welfare and protection" in all schools and institutes.
In addition, it will establish action protocols when there are indications of school harassment, cyberbullying, sexual harassment, gender-based violence, suicide, self-harm and any other form of violence.
On cyberbullying, it creates a specific channel for reporting to the Spanish Data Protection Agency and marks the rapid removal of content from the Internet, as well as creating new types of crime in violence perpetrated by technological means, such as promoting eating disorders. or suicide via the internet.
