CITY COUNCIL OF BARCELONA SANCTIONS 196,000€ TO THE OWNER THAT RENTED A OFFICIAL PROTECTION FLOOR

The owner of an official protection floor of the Barceloneta will have to pay 196,000 euros for not living in the housing that received public aid and rent it to a third party (180,000 euros for fines and the rest as a return of rents collected).
This sanction is the first one to apply after the inspection plan made by the Barcelona City Council in coordination with the Housing Agency of the Generalitat.
